Whitehorse Medical Centre as a service provider for Specialist General & Medical Practitioners
Whitehorse Medical Centre provides facility and support services to a list of Specialist General or Medical Practitioners that provide expert health advice and treatment for a wide range of conditions. The Centre does not hire or employ any Medical Practitioners. Rather, the Medical Practitioners operate independently, and utilise the first class services and facility from Whitehorse Medical Centre to operate their medical practice.
When booking to see one of the Medical Practitioners, please understand the following:
- The Medical Practitioner practises individually independent of other practitioners.
- The Centre is responsible for the booking, paperwork, billing and providing facility for the Medical Practitioner.
- The Centre is not responsible for the medical practices or treatment plans instituted by the Medical Practitioner.
- The Medical Practitioner relationship with the Centre is one of contractor and service provider. The Medical Practitioner is not an employee of Whitehorse Medical Centre.
- The Medical Practitioner may practise in another facility/location outside Whitehorse Medical Centre. It is your right to obtain your clinical notes, and discuss with your Medical Practitioner the best location to organise your consultation or treatment.
