We have two new Registrars Dr Martin Huynh has returned , Martin was with us last year for six months We also have Dr Guy Unmack who will be here for six months Both Doctors are available for appointments

Dr Wendy Manning

New Online Booking system

As of Saturday June 30th there will be a change in our online booking system for appointments. We are changing to HotDoc a system where you will be able to download the HotDoc app onto your mobile device and book your appointment

Very Exciting News - IT'S A GIRL

Lamnu one of our practice Nurses and her husband Steve are the proud parent's of a beautiful baby girl Ruby born June 25th Mum and baby both doing well Dad over the moon Lamnu will be on maternity leave for a few months

Breaking news - Dr Stephen Wales

We at WMC are thrilled to announce that Dr Stephen Wales will start consulting from WMC from Tuesday next week (6/2/18). Dr Wales graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1986, and gained his Fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1990. Dr Wales pursued a number of academic roles at the University of Melbourne soon after Fellowship  before starting full time practice in Vermont in 1996.  After 20 years, Dr Wales has taken a break from full time practice through 2016/2017 and is looking forward to "getting back to it".  Dr Wales is an experienced GP with a strong focus on preventative medicine and enjoys the full spectrum of general practice presentations.  Dr Wales' appointment book will be open later this week.  The doctors and staff at WMC warmly welcome Stephen to the practice.

Dr David Carne

Dr David Carne announced that he will be formally retiring from general practice at the staff Christmas dinner on 02/12/2017. David has been away from WMC since his Wife Anne was diagnosed with an operable cancer in September this year. David has made this decision after much deliberations with Anne and his children. The doctors, staff and patients at WMC will miss David very much, and we wish David and Anne all the very best.

Dr Sol Adibson

Dr Sol Adibnejad will join WMC to commence consulting from 22/01/2018. Sol will practice two days a week on Mondays and Fridays and his appointment book is now open. Sol's primary practice interest is around skin cancer and skin procedures. A comprehensive profile will be available on this site soon.

Dr Peter Sanad

Dr Peter Sanad spent six months as a RACGP Registrar at WMC back in 2016. The doctors and staff at WMC are thrilled to announce that Peter will return to WMC in February 2018 to commence practice after completing his RACGP Fellowship. Peter's practice is largely around all aspects of general practice, men's health, pediatrics and special clinical interests in skin cancer medicine and small office procedures. Peter's schedule at WMC will be published closer to his start date in February 2018.

Dr David Carne

Dr Carne has taken an extended leave of absence from WMC, to take care of a family member who recently had to undergo major surgery. At this stage, David and his family are doing well with post operation rehab and care. David and his family extend their thanks to all the patients of WMC for their patients and understanding and also for the numerous messages received. At this stage, David does not know when he will return to commence consulting at WMC. We will however update you all as more information is to hand.

Dr Ian Beasley

Sadly after 7 years at Whitehorse Medical Centre and 40 years in General Practice Dr Ian Beasley has decided to retire Ian will be missed by the team at Whitehorse Medical Centre and patients alike Ian is going to be relaxing and enjoying a well-deserved break with his family his dog and a new puppy We all wish him well

PARKING on Whitehorse Road Mitcham

Please note the parking on Whitehorse Road is electronic and the times have changed - half an hour in some spots and 1 hour in others To ensure you do not receive an infringement notice please use the shopping centre car park off Mitcham Road, this has a 3 hour limit You can then enter the Medical Centre via the back entrance to the Pharmacy

Before the transfer can take place you must sign a transfer of Medical records form The fee for the transfer of Medical records is $20 to cover costs
